Here the Documentation Project Lists minor Ideas or TodoItems that are too small for the FreeBSD Website:

Roll out dynamic web app for managing development project ideas
Murray has started a project to move the static ideas.xml file used to keep track of summer of code and other development projects seeking volunteers into a dynamic web app that allows users to vote and post comments about the items so that it is clear which projects have the most support and so that it is easier to make updates. See the design doc in IdeasWebApp
XML'ify the publications Pages
Josef started with XML'ifying the Publications Pages. I will try to make it up to date like the UserGroups and perhaps implement information found on this XSLT/XML info into the UserGroups. Reference: PR www/59307 Status: Working Owner: RemkoLodder
XML/XSL code for website-wide calendar
With some nice xml/xsl code (based on simons eventscalendar) we could create a nice calendar that covers all needed dates, like releng dates, freezes and so on. it could be reused multiple times on the website. some xsl or perl code could also make it create some calendar(1) or perhaps even ical compatible output (JosefElRayes)
Handbook
Make 5.X leading
Currently 5.X is treated as an exception in the Handbook in many places. (E.g. http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/network-nfs.html: "Note: In FreeBSD 5.X, the portmap utility has been replaced with the rpcbind utility. Thus, in FreeBSD 5.X the user is required to replace every instance of portmap with rpcbind in the forthcoming examples.".) This should be reversed so that 4.X is different from normal. There a probably dozens of changes needed, so this is probably better suited to be implemented as a structured effort. (siebrand)
This mostly had been done by Tom Rhodes (and a little bit by me) ; Tom removed a lot of information about 4.X that was not very useful anymore and updated various documents to match 5.X and beyond. Though people are still asked to give feedback when they notice old behaviour or missing information, we really want to update this ASAP.
