Ports failing on pointyhat-west
pointyhat-west is a new "head node" for the ports building cluster. It is constantly building packages for various ports.
Work is in progress to have pointyhat-west replace pointyhat. This process has been ongoing, and keeps getting delayed by packages that "just happen to work" on the original pointyhat, but which fail on pointyhat-west. Most of these have to do with weaknesses in the portbuild scripts, but some are bad assumptions in port Makefile. As these bugs are found, they are fixed.
However, MarkLinimon is still puzzled by some failures. Hints at what I'm missing are welcome.
(Note: a good starting point for the list is this pointyhat-west amd64-8-exp run; however, you will want to get the error logs from the one after or the current one.)
