The SSL working group will discuss and work on 3 topics

• Making libssl/libcrypto in base private (thus requiring a ports provider for libssl/libcrypto)

• Replacing OpenSSL in base with LibreSSL

• Improving SSL support in ports
• Opening: Introduction to the topics
  • State of SSL in base and ports
  • Making libraries private
  • Replacing base OpenSSL
  • Improving SSL support in ports

    • no-ssl2, no-ssl3, no-EGD, no-sha0

    • ports not linking the requested libs

Attending

In order to attend you need register for the developer summit as well as by email for the session and be confirmed by the working group organizer. Follow the guidelines described on the main page or what you received by email. For questions or if in doubt ask the session chairs.
