FreeBSD Community Day, April 7, 2019
This page describes the April 2019 FreeBSD Community day, co-located with FOSS-north 2019, which will take place in Gothenburg, Sweden. This is a public event intended for developers and anyone with an interest in FreeBSD, or who is looking to learn more about the project. FreeBSD committers are welcome to register themselves using this wiki. No pre-registration is required, but knowing approximately how many intends to show up makes it easier to size drinks and snacks. If you are unable to add yourself to the wiki, contact NiclasZeising.

Maps
The FreeBSD Community Day will be held at the B3 Consulting Group offices in central Gothenburg. The address is Kämpegatan 6, close to the Gothenburg C rail way station.
To get there from the rail way station, walk out trough the Nils Ericson Bus terminal, all the way to the northernmost exit. There is construction work going on alongside Götaleden, but there is a walkway through the construction work. Follow the purple signs pointing you towards Gullbergsstrand, and they'll lead you to the walkway across the construction site. Once across, you will end up on Kilsgatan, follow that to Kämpegatan, and take a left on Kämpegatan, or follow instructions from Google Maps. Please note that following instructions from Google Maps from the train station will lead you on a longer route.

If you are interested in attending, please add your name so that I can gauge interest and try to dimension the amount of food and drinks needed. The event is open to anyone, and is free of charge. If you are unable to attend, please remove yourself from the list.

Other Information
I recommend attending the FOSS-north conference on April 8 and 9. It's a two day dual track technical conference with a focus on Free- and Open Source software. More information and tickets for the conference can be found here.
A big thank you also to B3 Consulting Group for allowing us to use their office as the venue.
Travel to Gothenburg
Gothenburg is located on the west cost of Sweden. It can easily be reached by both air, train and car.
