Network access

During the DevSummit, WiFi will be available. Ethernet will not be possible. To connect to our infrastructure, we will give some connection tokens. The connection was tested with FreeBSD 12-RELEASE-p4 and Chromium. It was also tested with Firefox v67.0.2, but it was not functional.

Power

In Berlin, we use the type C (Europlug) and F (Schuko).

Logistics

We recommend using the following website https://www.bvg.de/en to get information about transport inside the city. Alternatively, the VBB application for Android and iPhone can be used.

Travel

Air

Berlin has two airports: Tegel and Schoenefeld.

Tegel is the main airport. Using the public transport, takes 43 minutes to get to the venue. Schoenefeld is the low cost airport. And it takes 34 minutes to get to the venue.

Rail

The main rail station (Hauptbahnhof) is in the middle of Berlin, and, from there, you can ride the public transport to the venue (20 minutes).

Other (nearer-ish) stations are available:

Accommodation

There are several hotels in the nearby. I have checked a couple of them that have WiFi and check-in 24H:

Munch, Munch
