I do "applied embedded systems" work for a living, i.e. I hack car computers and reprogram them for performance. I've been using Linux since 93, and was introduced to FreeBSD several years ago by my friend and (at the time) roommate ColemanKane
I recently converted one of my servers (Isilon iQ 1440 NAS cluster box) from Linux to FreeBSD. It's been quite an adventure, and I'm going to try to document some of my pain and suffering on the wiki to make it easier for others to get stuff done. I'm not a FreeBSD expert, but I can communicate well and don't mind documenting things I have to do to get my own stuff working. Which is why I'm here.
