Bugzilla Roadmap

We are at Bugzilla 5.0.4.

Here is the upstream roadmap, as derived from this blog post on 20230826.

The latest upstream formal release is 5.0.6.
- $/!\$ Note, however, that as of 5.0.5, this required a large schema change, and included unnecessary code reformatting.
- FreeBSD will prefer to investigate 5.0.4.1 20240903, which is merely 5.0.4 plus bugfixes.
The 5.1.X branch has been abandoned.
The next announced release will be 5.2. See the WIP release notes.
The next major release will be 6.0 (also called 5.9.1 in certain documentation).
