The FreeBSD Bugzilla Problem Report database can be daunting to those not familiar with it.
Let's try to break things down a bit.
The top-level concept is Product. For FreeBSD, most people will be interested in Base System (src), Documentation, or Ports & Packages.
The next concept is State. In FreeBSD, we primarily use New (raw, un-triaged), Open (triaged at least somewhat), and In Progress (at least some attempt has been made at a fix).
Finally, the database contains the concept has a patch available. (FYI: this does not necessarily means that the patch is correct, or even applies.)
