Advanced Search
"Custom Search"
The Bugzilla Search page has area shown under the Advanced Search link called Custom Search. With it you can do such things as the following:
- Custom Search
- "Match ALL of the following separately:"
- "Keywords" "contains the string" "ABC"
- [x] "Not" "Keywords" "contains the string" "XYZ"
- "Match ALL of the following separately:"
Notes
We should standardize/cleanup search queries here. For example:
- queries with all products where all products are in query is not necessary, as no products = all products
- dont includes (remove) url args that are the defaults anyway:
&keywords_type=allwords
- query_format=advanced
- others
There's very like (at least ive seen a few) completely duplicate searches here, if not significantly overlapping, as a results of the multiple search page merge done previously. Need to review and remove dupes.
Remove historic/past counts and datestamps. Challenging at best to keep up to date regularly (we dont), and out of date stats aren't that useful, and if they are, old stats dont look great. Should look into bugzilla reports more (to report these counts over time), then link to those.
