The FreeBSD Project is pleased to participate in the Google Summer of Code 2013 program.
FreeBSD maintains a page containing project ideas at Ideas page, many suitable for Summer of Code (and marked as such). Students are welcome to take on projects from that page, or produce their own project ideas and plans.

- July 29-August 2: Mid-term Evaluations
- September 16: End of coding (soft)

- September 23-27: Final Evaluations
- September 27: Submit code to Google
